Frequently asked questions about Albert

If desired, it is possible to connect the drainage hose to Albert for permanent water drainage. For easier handling, we recommend taking out the water tank. After that, connect the drainage hose to the inner drain valve on the back of Albert. Put the water tank back and place the other end of the drainage hose in a water outlet. Please make sure the end of the hose is lower than the spout, otherwise the water will not drain, and flooding may occur.
You may have positioned the hygrometer too far away from Albert. In order to compare both readings, it is important that the external measuring device is in the right place. Therefore, position your hygrometer by the air inlet at the back of Albert. Please note that every sensor, even that of Albert, has a tolerance range of usually +/- 5 %.
When the blinking symbol appears on the display, it means that the desired humidity has been reached and Albert will then switch himself off automatically.
You can set the desired humidity by pressing the knob hygrostat and using the rotary control to select the desired target humidity. Alternatively, the dehumidifier can be set to continuous running.
