Viruses and bacteria can be efficiently filtered out of the air with an air purifier. When used correctly, air purifiers can help to reduce pollutants in the air, including viruses. An air purifier helps to reduce the risk of infection from viruses and bacteria and can protect other people in the same room from infection.

An optimal climate for the home and office is a room temperature of 20-23 °C and a relative humidity of 40-60% as recommended by doctors and medical experts. In the bedroom in particular, these values can noticeably improve your nightly rest.

Humidity is the proportion of water vapour in the air. The relative humidity provides information on the saturation of the air with water vapour in the form of a percentage – always as a function of the temperature. That means: if the relative humidity is 100%, the air is completely saturated and if it is 50%, it is half-saturated with water vapour. You can measure the relative humidity using a hygrometer.

You can measure the relative humidity in a room using a hygrometer. For measurement to be accurate, it is important for the hygrometer to be positioned correctly: set up the hygrometer on a raised surface in the middle of the room, away from windows and doors. Wait a few minutes for the sensor to adjust to the room temperature.

Water hardness is a measure of the quantity of minerals in water. The higher the percentage of those minerals, the harder the water. The device you need will depend on the hardness of your water. If you don’t know the hardness of your mains water, you can ask your local water supplier or contact us to send you a test strip.

It is important to know how big the room in which you are going to be using the device is. If the doors to other rooms are open, the area of those rooms must also be included. Room area is calculated by multiplying the length and width of the room (e.g. 5 x 6 metres = 30 m2). To get the room volume, you multiply the room area by the ceiling height (30 m2 x 2.5 metres = 75 m3).

The room size should be doubled for minimum energy houses with controlled ventilation.

Choose a device that is recommended for at least your desired room size/area.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the air indoors is 2 to 5 times more polluted than the air outdoors. The level of pollution has a direct effect on air quality: the higher the level, the poorer the quality. Pollutants such as fine dust, animal hair, pollen, viruses, bacteria, mould spores and smoke can contaminate the air.

An air purifier is designed to remove pollutants such as dust, pollen, allergens and other particles from the air. A humidifier, on the other hand, is designed to increase humidity, which is particularly useful in dry air. An air washer is a combination of humidifier and air purifier. Air washers are particularly useful in dry and dusty environments.

Our products are - as usual in the industry - manufactured in China. What is different with us: firstly, all development and design work takes place in our offices in Zug, managed by our founder and CEO Martin Stadler. Secondly, we work closely with our producers in China. This has resulted in partnerships, some of which have existed for over 20 years.a

Yes, air washers can be very useful for allergy sufferers as they can filter allergens such as pollen, dust mites and animal dander from the air, which reduces the burden on allergy sufferers . And optimally humidified air can also alleviate allergy symptoms.

Yes, air washers are effective in reducing dust particles in the air. They wash out floating dust particles and thus improve the air quality in closed rooms.

Air washers can remove bad odours to a limited extent. An air purifier with an activated carbon filter is suitable for targeted and efficient odour removal. Activated carbon adsorbs odours and neutralises them.
