Frequently asked questions about Paul

The fan heater Paul by Stadler Form is IP21 certified and therefore splash-proof. This splash-proof protection makes this fan heater suitable for the use in bathrooms. It is mandatory to keep a minimum distance of at least 1 meter to the following objects: bathtubs, showers, swimming pools, water faucets, wash basins, etc.

Cooling mode is only active if Paul is set to 0°C. Heat mode is active if a target temperature of 1°C to 26°C is selected. Paul's cooling mode operates in the same way as a ventilator does. This means that Paul's fan (=ventilator) is switched on and the heating element is switched off. Activate the cooling mode by setting the target temperature to 0°C. The target temperature can be changed by making a vertical swiping motion across the right-hand "temperature" control panel.

The temperature display is set to Fahrenheit (shown as a small F next to the digits instead of the character C). You can change the display from Fahrenheit to Celsius by holding the "Auto Mode" button for 5 seconds. Thus the display can be changed from Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa.

In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, Paul must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer switch.

Yes, your settings will be saved. If Paul is switched off and then on again, the most recent settings used will be applied.
